Support for local community transport providers

The Community Transport Hub can also help local community transport providers with:

  • recruitment and training of volunteer drivers to increase scheme capacity
  • training to upskill volunteer drivers
  • a central booking number for Swansea, reducing direct calls to scheme volunteers
  • development support to sustain and grow schemes
  • support to access community transport options for groups, such as minibuses for group activities or vans to transport items

The Hub also supports people and organisations who would like to develop new transport initiatives in the area.
