What is the In-Work Support Service?

Funded by Welsh Government and delivered by RCS Wales, IWSS offers tailored support to help employed or self-employed individuals manage their health and stay in work. It’s free, confidential, and available to people living or working in North, West, and South West Wales.

Support Available for Individuals

If your health is affecting your ability to work, IWSS can give you quick access to free:

  • Psychological therapy – including counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

  • Physical therapy – such as physiotherapy for musculoskeletal issues

  • Coaching and mentoring – to help manage challenges and build resilience

  • Support with wider issues – including finance and debt advice where needed

Support for Businesses

RCS Wales also provides funded support to eligible small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 250 employees.
