About the Patient Forum

The Sketty and Killay Patient Forum gives patients an opportunity to share their views and help influence how local healthcare services are developed.

The forum considers current services, practice activities, proposed changes and issues raised by patients. It also helps the practice understand what matters most to the people who use its services.

Join the Patient Forum

We are currently looking for patients to join the forum.

The group normally meets with practice staff every two months on a Tuesday afternoon. Members can contribute ideas, discuss patient experiences and help improve communication between patients and the practice.

You do not need any previous experience. We welcome interest from patients of different ages and backgrounds.

What the forum does

  • Raises and discusses matters affecting patients.
  • Provides feedback on practice services and proposed changes.
  • Helps improve communication between patients and the practice.
  • Meets with Community Health Council representatives for discussion and consultation.
  • Contributes to discussions involving Swansea Bay University Health Board.
